|  | | Andreas Steinhöfel
Andreas Steinhöfel was born in Battenberg, Germany in 1962. After initially pursuing a teaching degree in biology and English, he studied English and media studies at the University of Marburg. He now works as a translator and critic and writes screen plays. Yet he is most known as the author of numerous, award-winning books for children and young adults.
