Asfa-Wossen Asserate, an Ethopian Prince, was born in Addis Ababa in 1948. After the Ethiopian revolution of 1974 he settled in Germany. He studied Law and History in Tübingen and Cambridge, and completed his doctorate in Frankfurt am Main. He worked for a time as freelance journalist and was also the Director of the Press and Information Department to the Dusseldorf Trade Fair Association. He now works in Frankfurt as a management consultant for Africa and the Middle East.
