Helmut Krausser, born 1964, studied archeology, theater and art history in Munich. After quitting the university in 1989, he engaged in a variety of activities, such as a working as a night watchman, theater extra, newspaper salesman, musician, broadcaster and journalist. Today Helmut Krausser is a freelance writer, musician, playwright and passionate chess player in Rome and Potsdam.
