Hans Traxler

Hans Traxler, born in 1929 in Herrlich (today Hrdlovka, Czech Republic), studied painting and lithography in Frankfurt. He was a co-founder of the satirical magazines Pardon and Titanic, and is one of the founders of the New Frankfurt School. In 1980 he began publishing his own series in Zeit Magazin, in addition to working as an illustrator for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
