Thomas Macho

Thomas Macho, born in 1952, is a cultural historian and philosopher. Since 1993 he has been a professor of cultural history at Humboldt University in Berlin, where he co-founded the interdisciplinary Hermann von Helmholtz Centre for Cultural Technology. His research focus includes the history of chronology, the cultural history of human-animal relations, as well as death and death cults.
