Bettina Wilpert, born in 1989, lives in Leipzig and works as a trainer for German as a foreign language. There, as well as in Potsdam and Berlin, she studied cultural studies, English and literary writing. She was a scholarship holder of the 20th Klagenfurt Literature Course, Artist in Residence at PROSANOVA 2017, and received scholarships for both the Author's Workshop Prosa 2017, and Literary Colloquium Berlin 2017. She has written numerous texts for literary journals such as: Bella Triste and Metamorphosen. Nichts, was uns passiert is the young author’s debut novel.
