Dr. Jörg Bernardy, born in 1982, studied philosophy and literature in Cologne, Paris and Düsseldorf. He was a research assistant at the Karlsruhe State College of Design, where he collaborated with renowned authors and professors such as Peter Sloterdijk and Wolfgang Ullrich. Most recently, he worked for DIE ZEIT for several years. His research focuses on the philosophy of media, culture, society and aesthetics. He is interested in the connection of theory and practice as well as the manifold possibilities of experience, which is the basis of philosophical ideas. Jörg Bernardy lives as a freelance author in Hamburg.
