John Henry Eagle
Henning Ahrens, who frequently writes under a pseudonym - ‘John Henry Eagle’ is one of them - was born in Peine. He studied English, History and Art History in Göttingen, London and Kiel, and gained his doctorate with a thesis on John Cowper Powys. A writer of both poetry and prose, he is also a translator. He lives in Frankfurt.
