Renate Raecke
Renate Raecke, born 1943 in Lübeck, studied Literature and Art History before working at various publishing houses as well as in the book trade. She was chair of the Association for Children’s and Youth Literature (AKJ) in Munich and an executive member of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) in Basel. Renate Raecke works as a freelance editor and translator, and lives in northern Germany.
