Galiani Berlin Verlag

In January 2009, Galiani Berlin was founded and the publishing “marriage” with Kiepenheuer & Witsch finalized. Since then, Wolfgang Hörner (Director) and Esther Kormann (Editor) have been collaborating on the publishing house’s program, which is primarily devoted to contemporary German literature, cultural-historical and narrative non-fiction, as well as the classics of world literature. Distinguished German authors at Galiani Berlin include: Karen Duve, Peter Wawerzinek, Jenny Erpenbeck, Frank Schulz, Jan Costin Wagner, Alain Claude Sulzer and Sven Regener. The company is continually on the lookout for new discoveries, in the spirit of the publisher’s namesake Ferdinando Galiani: "interested in everything and never boring."
