Children who read grow into adults who read - and why shouldn't they become readers of Fischer books? In 1994, around a hundred years after the founding of S. Fischer Verlag, the paperback series 'Fischer Schatzinsel' was launched. Authors of the publishing house, such as Reiner Kunze, Luise Rinser and Dieter Kühn, presented their children's books, extraordinary children's authors such as Cornelia Funke, Sharon Creech, Sabine Ludwig and Marliese Arold found a new home here.
Since 2013, all titles of this program segment have been bundled under the new name 'Fischer Kinder- und Jugendbücher'. Whether bound or paperback, narrative or factual - all books have one thing in common: their quality in terms of language, content, illustration and workmanship. And even if they no longer come from 'Treasure Island', they are still real treasures.
