Julia Friese, born in Leipzig in 1979, studied graphics and book design at Leipzig University. Previously she had taken the Visual Communication course at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Recently she successfully concluded her studies in Leipzig, and she now lives in Dublin as a freelance graphic artist and illustrator. Works by Julia Friese have already been accepted twice for the illustrators’ exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
