Lisa Fuss is a theatre painter at Stuttgart’s ‘Staatstheater’, where since 1998 she has been assisting stage designers such as Anna Viebrock, Erich Wonder, Marcel Keller, Muriel Gerstner and Martin Zehetgruber. Her work is not confined solely to the theatre, however: she also designs flyers, logos, postcards and tattoos. Despite all this artistic activity, though, she does not like to be characterised as an ‘artist’: for her, what matters most is precise craftsmanship.
