Marion Goedelt was born in Hamburg in 1973. She studied illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. She presented her pictures for the first time at the children’s book fair in Bologna in 2001. She has been living in Berlin since 2001, setting up the "gute gründe" atelier there. She illustrates children’s books and textbooks.
