Ute Wegmann

Image Born 1959, Ute Wegmann studied German and Romance Languages and Literature. Since 1994, she has been working as a journalist, producing monthly programs on Deutschlandfunk radio for the series Book Market (THE BEST 7). She is also Project Director of "Stoffbörse“ for the Board of Trustees of young German film, Wiesbaden/Berlin and is a lecturer at the University of Essen-Duisburg in the German Studies & Media departments, focusing on literary adaptation. As a director, she adapted the children's book "Gehört das so?" by Peter Schössow for the TV-show DIE SENDUNG MIT DER MAUS, WDR.. Her two children's films which she also produced: "His first fish" (2004) and "The best funerals of the World" (2009), were awarded a seal of approval. Ute Wegmann lives and works in Cologne.

Ronald Düker

Image Born in 1970, Ronald Düker studied German literature, philosophy and cultural studies in Bonn, Hamburg and Berlin. In 2005, he received his PhD at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. He has been writing scholarly essays and journalistic articles for various newspapers and magazines. From 2002 to 2007, he was cultural editor at Netzeitung. Since 2008, he has been in the non-fiction department for the magazine Literaturen.



 
 
Katrin Hillgruber

Image Katrin Hillgruber was born in Munich, Germany, and studied modern German literature, dramatics, and the history of eastern and southeastern Europe. After working for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Berliner Taggesspiegel, she became active as a literary critic and free-lance journalist for print media and radio. She edited Undine Gruentner’s Pariser Libertinagen (Munich, 2005) and has contributed to various anthologies.
