The Frankfurter Verlagsanstalt with Joachim Unseld as its head publishes the latest literary voices. In course of our hard programmatic work we’ve successfully provided an important forum for significant new discoveries ever since we started in1994.
Outstanding contemporary writers such as Bodo Kirchhoff and Ernst-Wilhelm Händler
− and most recently Thomas von Steinaecker and Marion Poschmann − have been published by FVA. In the past ten years three of our authors, Thomas von Steinaecker, Christoph Peters and Zoë Jenny have been awarded the Aspekte Prize for the best literary debut. The Pollen Room, Jenny’s first novel, was translated into 26 languages and became an incomparable literary and commercial success.
