Jens Rassmus Travels with the Book Caravan to Errachidia and Erfoud
Morocco
The Goethe-Institut Morocco and the bookseller Jamila Hassoune are pleased to announce the next book caravan which will take place in the Draa-Tafilalet region of Southeast Morocco from April 16-20, 2018.
During the book caravan, ateliers in two secondary schools and one primary school in Errachidia and Erfoud will be offered within three days. The Goethe-Institut Morocco has invited the German author and illustrator Jens Rassmus to read from his picture book "Kann ich mitspielen? Eine Fußballgeschichte" [Can I play, too? A soccer story] as well as lead workshops. Mustapha Hajlane, Librarian at the Goethe-Institut Morocco, will moderate and translate during the workshops.
Mahmoud Hassanein’s Arabic translation of Jens Rassmus' picture book, "Kann ich mitspielen? Eine Fußballgeschichte" was published in 2016, with the support of Litrix at the Tamer Institute for Community Education Ramallah.
