ViceVersa: 2. German-Greek Translation Workshop 2021
Straelen
From 21 to 27 March 2021 a total of 12 participants from both language areas will be able to exchange ideas on translation issues of every kind at the Europäisches Übersetzer-Kollegium (European Translators’ College) in Straelen.
Closing date for applications: 21 December 2021
Translators both from and into Greek will have the opportunity to work together on the projects they themselves have proposed and/or on texts chosen by the organisers; to discuss topics relating to the process of translation; and to exchange information on the working conditions that obtain within their own professional environments. The main focus of the 5-day workshop will be discussion of the translations put forward by the participants. In addition to the intensive interchange made possible by the workshop itself, its purpose is also to foster long-term collaboration between translators in the German and Greek language areas.
