The workshop was conceived by the Felsberger Institut für Bildung und Wissenschaft e.V. and the independent organization elbarlament GmbH. Leila Chammaa, Lebanese-German translator and cultural mediator, is leading the workshop and will focus on writing style and modes of expression in poetry. The four-day workshop is part of a series of events that aim to train and support Iraqi women participants so they can give political and literary expression to their traumatic experiences.
