Kathrin Passig, born 1970 in Deggendorf, is a non-fiction-book author, journalist, translator and computer programmer. Together with colleagues she founded the ‘Zentrale Intelligenz Agentur’ (ZIA) in 2002, a network of writers, journalists and web designers, which among other things publishes the award-winning blog riesenmaschine.de. She lives in Berlin.
