Jessica Lind was born in St. Pölten, Austria, in 1988 and now lives in Vienna with her family. She studied screenwriting at the Filmakademie Wien and worked as a dramaturge on Jessica Hausner’s Little Joe, which premiered at Cannes in 2019. In 2015, she won Open Mike with the story Mama, which she turned into her eponymous debut novel (2021). Her second novel, Little Monsters, is her first book to be published by Hanser Berlin.
