Daniel Marwecki, born in Bremen in 1987, is a political scientist and teaches international relations at the University of Hong Kong. His much-discussed book 'Absolution? Israel und die deutsche Staatsräson' [Absolution? Israel and German raison d'état]was published in German in 2024. He is an expert on geopolitics and writes for Le Monde Diplomatique, taz, Unherd, Jacobin, Berlin Review of Books and other publications.
