Julia Franck

Julia Franck, born 1970 in East Berlin, moved to West Germany with her family in 1978. She studied Latin-American Anthropology, Philosophy, and Modern German Literature at the Free University, Berlin. Her books have been translated into more than 30 languages. She lives with her family in Berlin.
