Josef H. Reichholf

Josef Reichholf, born 1945  in Lower Bavaria, studied Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Tropical Medicine at Munich University. He spent a year researching biodiversity in Brazil and undertook many research visits to Africa, Asia and various tropical islands. He was Professor of Ecology and Nature Conservation at the Technical University Munich, and from 1974 to 2010 head of the Vertebrate Section of the Bavarian State Zoology Collection. He lives in Neuötting am Inn.
