Jürgen Goldstein

Jürgen Goldstein, born 1962 in Beckum, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a professor of philosophy at the University of Koblenz and Landau. Inspired chiefly by Hans Blumenberg, he is interested in the development and characteristic patterns of modernity. His books focus on the development of modern subjectivity and rationality, twentieth-century political philosophy, and the history of perceptions of nature.
