Michael Sommer

Michael Sommer, born 1970 in Bremen, studied History, Classics, Political Science and Near Eastern Archeology in Freiburg. He taught and researched at the Universities of Oxford and Liverpool from 2002-2012. He has been Professor of Ancient History at the University of Oldenburg since 2012.
