Ulrike Möltgen

Ulrike Möltgen was born in Wuppertal in 1973. She studied communication design at the University of Wuppertal in her hometown and completed her degree under the illustrator and children's book author Wolf Erlbruch. She taught as a lecturer at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Möltgen gained recognition in 1997 with her picture book series ‘Der Mondbär’ (The Moon Bear).
