Pantheon Verlag

The Pantheon Verlag in Munich is part of the Penguin Random House publishing group. It publishes sophisticated non-fiction books by international and German-language authors in the fields of politics and history, society, contemporary history, biography and the natural sciences. Among the company’s most successful titles are Eine kurze Geschichte der Menschheit (‘Sapiens. A Brief History of Humankind’) by Yuval Noah Harari, und the works of Andreas Kossert, including Masuren (‘Mazuria’), Kalte Heimat (‘Cold homeland’) and Flucht. Eine Menschheitsgeschichte (‘Taking flight. A story about mankind’). The company has also published the memoirs of major politicians, including those of Helmut Schmidt, Joachim Gauck and Henry Kissinger.
