Luftschacht Verlag

The °LUFTSCHACHT Verlag was founded in 2001 in Vienna and brings contemporary forms of literature together beyond any narrow genre-specific or age-specific confines. Following several independent projects with authors, musicians, photographers and actors, the first regular book assortment was released in 2003, and the reputation of the novels and short stories it comprised quickly made the rounds. The current assortment likewise embraces literature that lies beyond the customary boundaries of genres, along with original publications and translations, autobiographies, essays, books for children and young adults, comics, graphic novels and popular non-fiction books.
