Monika Horstmann, born 1969 in Hamburg, studied Sociology and Social and Economic History, then studied Illustration and Book Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. She works as a freelance illustrator and graphic artist in Hamburg – since 2002 as a member of the Amaldi Studio Cooperative.
