Roland Koberg, born 1967 in Linz, studied German Literature in Vienna, and then worked as a theatre critic and feature-writer at the Viennese weekly Falter. After moving to Germany in 1995 he worked in the features section of Die Zeit before becoming culture editor at the Berliner Zeitung. Since 2001 he has worked as a dramaturge and curator at numerous theatres in the German-speaking world.
