Patmos Verlag

The Patmos Verlag, a publisher whose traditions go back a long way, has been part of the Verlagsgruppe Patmos within the Schwabenverlag AG since 2010, offering books in two major areas, namely ‘Psychology and self-help’ and ‘Religion and spirituality’. Both areas are graced by a considerable number of high-profile names. Thus for instance the ‘Psychology’ section includes the collected works of C.G. Jung. The ‘advice’ assortment includes bestsellers in the domains of practical self-help, personality development, parents and children, and death and bereavement. The other key area in the Patmos assortment is ‘Religion and spirituality’. The various topics covered here are as diverse as life itself, including non-fiction books on world religions, current themes in politics and society, and lived spirituality; since 2020 this area has been supplemented by the products of the Jüdische Verlagsanstalt Berlin.
