Dieter Böge, born 1958, is a painter, illustrator and lecturer. He teaches illustration at Hamburg’s Academy of Applied Arts and is artistic director of the JAK Academy for Fashion Design in Hamburg. Was tun!?. is his first joint children’s book with Bernd Mölck-Tassel, with whom he has been working for nearly twenty years. Dieter Böge is married and has a nine-year-old son.
