Raised in Budapest, Léda Forgó (b. 1973) worked for Hungarian Radio as a director’s assistant from 1991-1992. She began studying history in Pecs in 1994, and moved to Stuttgart where she continued her studies and took courses in Puppet Theatre at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts. In 1998, she moved to Berlin and received a degree in "dramatic writing” from the University of the Arts in Berlin.
