Peter Stamm was born on 18.1.1963. After training in the retail sector, he spent several semesters studying English, Psychology and Psychopathology. He has spent a considerable periods in Paris, New York, Scandinavia, London und Berlin. He has worked as a freelance author and journalist since 1990.
