Christian Adam

Christian Adam, born 1966, trained as a photographer before studying German literature as well as media and communication studies at the Free University of Berlin. He worked as an editor and senior editor at various non-fiction publishers. In 2003 he completed his doctorate on the Nazi writer Wilfrid Bade. Adam served from 2007 to 2014 as head of publications in the Education and Research Department of the Federal Commissioner for the Stasi Archives (BStU) in Berlin. In 2015 he was appointed head of the editorial staff at the Bundeswehr’s Centre for Military History and Social Studies.
