Publisher's profile The Eichborn Verlag was founded in 1980 and is one of the few independent general trade book publishers in Germany. Eichborn‘s many-faceted and high-quality programme includes fiction and non-fiction, guidebooks, humorous books and gift books, as well as the ANDERE BIBLIOTHEK series, edited by Hans Magnus Enzensberger, and Eichborn.Berlin, with a programme focusing on literature by young German writers. Many of the works published by Eichborn have been translated into many languages. They include, "Die Ausgewanderten" (The Emigrants) and "Die Ringe des Saturn" (The Rings of Saturn) by W.G. Sebald, Karen Duve’s "Regenroman" (Rain) and "Dies ist kein Liebeslied" (This is not a Love Song), Sven Regener’s "Herr Lehmann" (Berlin Blues) and the diary of an anonymous woman, "Eine Frau in Berlin" (A Woman in Berlin).
