Ravensburger Buchverlag

The Ravensburger Verlag, a family enterprise founded in 1883 by the bookseller Otto Robert Maier, is one of Germany’s leading publishers of books for children and young adults. Ravensburger publishes books for children and young people of all ages. There are picture books for very young children, first-readers for children starting school, and novels and non-fiction books for children and teenagers, all of them sporting the company’s trademark blue triangle. Ravensburger is a byword for quality, and this makes it especially attractive to its authors. Books by highly successful authors such as Gudrun Pausewang, Stella Tack, Andreas Gruber and Morton Rhue are published by Ravensburger, as are top-flight illustrators such as Helmut Spanner, Angela Weinhold, Doris Rübel and Wolfgang Metzger.
