arsEdition
The Munich publishing house arsEdition was founded in 1896 by Josef Müller, and these days mainly publishes books for children and young adults. In summer 2012 its programme was expanded by the addition of the Bloomsbury books for children and young people. January 2013 marked the beginning of ‘bloomoon’, an imprint specifically for young people’s literature, targeting children aged 10 and older and young adults. In addition to publishing successful foreign titles under licence, bloomoon also focuses on established German authors and young, emerging writers. arsEdition publishes an average of 200 new books in the children’s and young people’s sector each year. The company is part of the Swedish Bonnier Group.
