Dorothee Schwab was born in Vienna in 1985. She studied Graphic Design and Communication Design as a master class student at the Federal Training and Research Institute of Graphic Arts in Vienna. She also read Psychology at the University of Vienna. Her first book, Ein Waldwicht fliegt in den Oman, started out as her master class graduation project.
