Wolf Erlbruch studied graphic design and has long been an illustrator in advertising. Since 1997, he has been a professor in the Department of Architecture - Design - Art at the Bergischen Universität Wuppertal. He has received numerous awards, including the Youth Literature Award (special prize for illustration) and the Hans Christian Andersen Award. Wolf Erlbruch lives in Wuppertal.
