Moises Saman, born 1974 in Lima, Peru, studied Communication and Sociology at California State University. He worked as a staff photographer for the American newspaper Newsday from 2000 to 2007, and since then has worked as a freelance photographer for various publications including the New York Times, Newsweek and TIME Magazine. He has been a ‘Nominee’ and then full member of the famous Magnum Photos agency since 2010.
