Florian Mühlfried, born 1970, is Professor of Social Anthropology at the State University in Ilia, Georgia, following posts at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle (Saale), the Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Campinas University, Brazil, and Tbilisi State University.
