The Galiani Berlin Verlag was founded in January 2009 and chiefly specialises in contemporary German-language literature, cultural-historical and narrative non-fiction, and the classics of world literature. Galiani sees itself as a publishing house that offers its readers fresh discoveries regardless of genre and of the century in which they originated.  As an imprint of the Kiepenheuer & Witsch Verlag, Galiani Berlin is part of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group.
