DuMont Buchverlag

DuMont Literatur und Kunst Verlag grew out of DuMont Buchverlag, which was founded in 1956 as a branch of the large newspaper publisher DuMont Schauberg, itself founded in the early 17th century, and was established as an independent publisher in 2001. DuMont Literatur und Kunst Verlag, stressing the link between literature and art, focuses on both contemporary literature and art. Its literary list includes German and international fiction as well as a large range of poetry with authors as Marcel Beyer, John von Düffel, Julia Franck, Thomas Hettche, Judith Kuckart, Thomas Kling and Arnold Stadler.
