Erika Klopp Verlag
The Klopp publishing house, established in 1925 by Fritz Klopp, switched to the publication of children’s and young people’s literature under Erika Klopp following the war, when it specialised very successfully in British authors such as Enid Blyton. In the summer of 2002 the company instituted a new overall concept whereby it concentrates on series and individual titles for children and young adults. A main focus here are the colourfully illustrated ‘Leseratten’ (‘bookworms’) books for children from age 8 to 10. Books for girls of 12 and over and the young people’s series ‘mittendrin’ complete the programme.
