To mark the centenary of Franz Kafka’s death, the Austrian cartoonist Nicolas Mahler celebrates the Bohemian writer with a biography in cartoon format in which he depicts Kafka’s life and work in a manner at once idiosyncratic, witty and touching. In conversation with his translator Matteo Galli he will talk about the approach he took in dealing with Kafka and his oeuvre.
