Tommie Goerz, born 1954 studied sociology, philosophy and political science. He has
been a scientist, advertiser and lecturer and has among other prizes won a Bronze Lion
in Cannes in 2007. Since 2009, he has published ten crime novels about the original
Franconian detective Friedo Behütuns. Goerz is a member of the Syndikat and PEN Berlin. He lives in Erlangen.
