Sigrid Belzer, born 1972, is a geologist. From her student days onwards she has done her best to promote a greater awareness of the sciences amongst school students, teachers and the public at large. She devises and conducts bionics events for children, produces teaching materials, and invents games, models and play sets that demonstrate the principles of bionics.
