Antje Rávik Strubel

Antje Rávik Strubel, born 1974 in Potsdam, initially trained as a bookseller before studying Literature, American Studies and Psychology in Potsdam and at the New York University. Her debut novel was published in 2001, followed by many other books, most recently the novel "Blaue Frau".  Strubel also works as a translator from English and Swedish and has translated Joan Didion, Lena Andersson, Lucia Berlin and Virginia Woolf, among others.
